<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easier the work of coupling a U-shaped portion to fittings with tightening bolts on a horn on the steel tower side. SOLUTION: A horn 20 on a steel tower side is coupled to two mounting fittings 10 extending downward in parallel fixed to a steel tower arm 4 through an upward U-shaped portion 21 with bolts 12. A stay 21d crosses between attaching portions 21a at the right and left upper ends of the U-shaped portion 21 and is welded and fixed. The mounting fittings 10 has a plurality of holes 10a for inserting bolts for mounting height adjustment. Work of fixing the U-shaped portion 21 to the mounting fittings 10 is performed by one worker who is suspended in midair; a rope passed through an upper block is attached to the stay 21d of the U-shaped portion 21, the worker holds this rope with his one hand and suspends the U-shaped portion 21, and adjusts its mounting height. By the other hand of the worker, the position of the bolt hole 10a selected at the mounting fittings 10 is aligned with a bolt hole of the attaching portion 21a of the U-shaped portion 21, and also the worker inserts a tightening bolt 12 into the bolt hole. The U-shaped portion 21 is suspended with a posture for attaching work so that the work is easier.</p> |
