<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the durability by simultaneously sealing an opening at the end portion and an connecting hole at a female type connection of the main body of a tube. SOLUTION: This stop cock comprises a first increased diameter member 10A, a second increased diameter member 10B, an elastic ring member 10C fitted to an end opening 3, and tightening means 27 and 28 which mutually pull the increased diameter members 10A and 10B for increasing the diameter of the elastic ring member 10C. The tightening means 27 and 28 are handled with a tightening tool 18, the elastic ring member 10C is increased in diameter by means of sloped pressuring surfaces 12a and 13b of the increased diameter members 10A and 10B, the opening 3 at one end portion of the tube main body 1A is sealed and, at the same time, and a ring-shaped collar 11 of the first increased diameter member 10A comes into contact with the outer end face of a female type connection 1B, and a connecting hole 2 of a tube connecting cylinder 1B is sealed.</p> |
