<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an insulator in such a manner that anchor metal fittings do not obstruct mold operation by constituting mold's split openings in anchor metal penetrating positions of a pair of anchor metal fittings penetrating split openings formed obliquely relative to the operating direction of a set of molds. SOLUTION: Split openings in anchor metal fittings penetrating positions of a set of molds 5 are constituted of two piece splitting comprizing a pair of anchor metal fittings penetrating split openings 10, outer split openings 30 each formed from an outside end 10A of the split openings 10 to an outer wall 5A of the molds 5, and an inner split opening 40 formed by connecting an inside end 10B of each of the split openings 10. Firstly, strip-shaped anchor metals 2, which are positioned in a shifted manner from each other by 90 deg. and locked by insulating materials so as to embrace the insulating materials, are set to the molds 5 in such a manner that the anchor metal fittings 2 protrude through the split openings 10. Nextly, potter's clay, a silicon rubber, or the like is injected into the molds 5. Thereafter, the molds 5 are removed, and an insulator body is formed by conducting drying, sintering, vulcanizing, and the like.</p> |
