<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control flexibly a communication band in interlocking a terminal equipment with a communication network in the communication band control method where an available band is allocated to each call on request from the terminal equipment. SOLUTION: In this method consisting of a communication network making up of an exchange and plural terminal equipments, at first a setup signal sent from a caller terminal equipment and including a desired maximum available band request and a desired minimum available band request is received (STEP 11). Then the received desired maximum available band request and desired minimum available band request are compared with the available maximum utility band and the available band is allocated (STEP 12). Then the available band to be allocated is informed to the caller terminal equipment (STEP 13). Furthermore, the caller terminal equipment makes communication through the allocated available band.</p> |
