PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner transfer quantity from being reduced and image quality from being deteriorated even when special paper such as a thick paper is fed by manual paper feeding. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a manual paper feeding sensing means sensing the manual paper feeding. In the case an instruction is outputted (204), whether or not it is the manual paper feeding is judged according to a sensing signal (206). In the case it is not the manual paper feeding, ordinary transfer voltage is generated according to a 1st control signal (210), and in the case it is the manual paper feeding, the transfer voltage higher than the ordinary one is generated according to a 2nd control signal (208). Since the transfer voltage becomes high in the case of the manual paper feeding, electric field acting on toner transfer becomes strong, the toner quantity transferred to paper is increased and excellent image density is obtained, then image quality is improved. |
