PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of using it for a long time. SOLUTION: This battery has a positive electrode 21 capable of storing and releasing lithium; a negative electrode 22 composed of lithium metal, lithium alloy, or substance or conductive substance capable of storing and releasing lithium; a separator 3 provided between both the batteries; a nonaqueous electrolyte 1 impregnated in the separator 3, and a battery vessel 5. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a heterocyclic compound composed of one kind or two kinds or more selected from the group of 1,2,4-triazole, 1,2,3-triazole, pyrazole, imidazole, and pyrrole. The negative electrode 22 is preferable to be applied by surface treatment by treaing liquid containing the heterocyclic compound. |
