<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freshness keeping net having easy operability in wrapping work and capable of keeping freshness of a perishable foodstuff for a long time by imparting a water-soluble peptide mainly containing amino acids of fibroin protein to a cylindrical net. SOLUTION: A treating agent is prepared by compounding 70-90wt.% water- soluble peptide solution mainly containing amino acids of fibroin protein obtained by the hydrolysis of silk thread, 5-10wt.% consolidating agent such as a water-soluble polyester resin and 5-20wt.% activated mineral water. A cylindrical net obtained by knitting chemical fiber yarn of nylon, polyurethane, etc., or natural fiber yarn by a circular knitting machine is dipped into the treating solution. The treated cylindrical net is dehydrated and dried to obtain the objective freshness-keeping net having a peptide film on the surface of the net.</p> |
