<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image developing carrier which does not give rise to a development ghost and the degradation in image density with lapse of time and to provide an image forming method capable of stably forming a good image having a high density without the image defect, such as development ghost. SOLUTION: This carrier is a resin coated carrier formed with a resin coating layer of the surface of core material particles. The carrier satisfies the relation of the equation when the numbers of the copper atoms and iron atoms existing on the surface parts of the core material particles are respectively defined as (SCu ) and (SFe ) and the numbers of the copper atoms and iron atoms existing over the entire part of the core material particles are respectively defined as (NCu ) and (NFe ). The image forming method includes a developing stage by a contactless two-component developing method by using the electrostatic image developing carrier (dynamic current value: 1.2 to 2.0μA).</p> |
