<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy low-temp. fixability, anti-hot-offsetting property, contamination and eggregation resistances and electrostatic charge-ability, to easily make a copying machine high-speed, automatic and compact and to easily attain high image quality. SOLUTION: This toner consists essentially of a bonding resin, a colorant and a releasing agent. The bonding resin contains 8-32wt.% component (MP) whose mol.wt. is 20,000-300,000 and 12-28wt.% component (HP) whose mol.wt. is >300,000 in the mol.wt. distribution of the resin measured by gel permeation chromatography and the HP and MP contents satisfy the formula 45%<=MP(%)+HP(%)×2<=65%. The glass transition temp. of the resin is 52-62 deg.C. A toner image is fixed with a heat roll.</p> |
