摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of rust from the end parts of a rear reinforcing metal plate to prevent the deterioration of the performance of a photovoltaic element due to the inflow of water or the like by a method wherein the end surfaces of the metal plate are covered with a resin and one part of the rear of the photovoltaic element is covered with the resin in such a way that the resin creeps on the end surfaces. SOLUTION: The main significant part of a solar cell module is constituted of a photovoltaic element 101, a rear reinforcing metal plate 102, a weather-resistant film 103, a filling material 104 for burying the element 101 and a resin 105 for covering the end surfaces of the plate 102. As the element 101, one, which has a high shock resistance and has a bendability, is used. As the plate 102, one, which has the strength when the plate 102 is subjected to bending work and is turned into a structure, is used. As the film 103, one, which is superior in weather resistance and has a large extensibility, is used. As the material 104, a thermoplastic resin is used for making the material 104 superior in processability, for making the side of incident light transparent and for making the roughness of the element 101 fill. The resin 105 conducts a covering extending over from the end part cut surfaces of the plate 102 to the rear of the element 101 and prevents the interface between the plate 102 and the material 104 from being separated from the plate 102 or the material 104.
