PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably control both the up-shift and the down-shift according to the feeling of a driver by facilitating the operation without any troublesome constitution. SOLUTION: A shift control device is provided with the manual mode to switch the shift position by the operation of a driver and the automatic mode to automatically switch the shift position according to the operational condition of a vehicle. In addition, the shift control device is also provided with a learning means (S19) to learn the shift pattern reflecting the taste for the shift of the driver by the neural network with the shift condition at least in either of the manual mode and the automatic mode as the parameter, a target shift position setting means (S22) to set the target shift based on the output from the learning means and the operational condition of the vehicle in the automatic mode, and shift control means (S24, S30) to control the shift of an automatic transmission based on the target shift position. |
