FIELD: materials handling facilities; making of load-lifting slings from wire rod. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, self-tightening sling is assembled into bundle in form of closed spiral with different diameter coils. Front end of sling material is connected with thread by any method is place of forming of closed single-thread spiral, and rear end is secured on bundle body. in proposed method of manufacture of self-tightening sling flexible material is fed to mandrel, loops are wound on two-step mandrel over closed contour, material is tightened on mandrel and ends are fitted in and then cut off. Front end of material is fitted in by connecting the end to thread after forming n-coils of single-thread spiral on mandrel and rear end is fitted in after forming n-loop bundle by rotating screw spiral along preset closed path. In some cases front end is connected with thread after forming two coils of spiral on mandrel. EFFECT: improved manufacturability, forming of multiple thread two-loop closed spiral directly from wire rod coil, avoiding making of ring bundle. 8 cl, 15 dwg |
