PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the remote controller small in size and to reduce the cost by driving an infrared ray LED with a sum of a charging voltage and a voltage of a power supply regardless of an insufficient drive voltage of the power supply to drive the infrared ray LED. SOLUTION: A control section 2 provides an output of two kinds of signals H or L to transistors(TRs) 5, 11. When the output from the control section 2 is logical H, both the TRs 5, 11 are conductive, and when the output from the control section 2 is logical L, both the TRs 5, 11 are nonconductive. When both the TRs 5, 11 are nonconductive, a capacitor 7 is charged by a power supply 1. When both the TRs 5, 11 are conductive, the charging voltage of the capacitor 7 and the power supply 1 act like the power supply of the infrared ray LED to drive the LED 10. The sum voltage of the power supply 1 and the charging voltage of the capacitor 7 is applied to the LED 7 to supply a sufficient drive current to the LED 7. |
