PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device automatically obtaining a color output even if an Ninl mode is selected. SOLUTION: This image forming device possesses an original discriminating mode for discriminating whether originals to be copied by the image forming device are color originals or monochromatic originals and an Ninl copying mode for copying the plural sheets of original images on a sheet of copying paper. When the original discriminating mode and the Ninl copying mode are simultaneously selected and the color originals and the monochromatic originals coexist in N originals, a color/monochromatic switching controlling means switches whether the copied image is outputted chromatic or monochromatic. When it is set as color copy switching number=4 and the color copy mode is selected at the time of outputting, all the originals are chromatic. Also, when it is set as the color copy switching number=1 and the color original coexists in one original out of four originals, the output is made chromatic. When all the originals are monochromatic, the monochromatic output is made. |
