PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct together not only a change in a photoreceptor drum but also changes in a development material, etc., to make correction so that an aimed image-output is obtained, and, further, to correct changes in consumable articles as well. SOLUTION: This device detects a development current flowing during development for a reference original-document, when a power source is turned on or each time an exposure lamp 25 is turned on a specified number of times. According to the detected development current, it calculates correction surface potential for the photorecepor drum by the use of ROM data, and determines a quantity of correction exposure by an exposure lamp 25. Then, by outputting an exposure control signal corresponding to the corrected quantity of exposure to a lamp driver 4b via a scanner CPU 4a in a scanner 4, the quantity of exposure by the exposure lamp 25 can be corrected. |
