<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the decomposition efficiency of organic chlorine compounds by attaching an oxygen supply device to the front stage of the reactor of an organic chlorine compound decomposition apparatus and supplying oxygen to harmful gas. SOLUTION: A discharge electrode to which high pulse voltage is applied and a grounding electrode arranged opposite to the discharge electrode are installed to make a reactor 3, and an oxygen supply device 4 is attached to the front stage of the reactor 3. Harmful gas containing organic chlorine compounds, after being added with oxygen by the oxygen supply device 4, is introduced into the reactor 3 to decompose and treat the chlorine compounds in a gas phase. In this process, the oxygen supply device 4, while monitoring the oxygen concentration by an oxygen concentration analyzer 6 of the rear stage of the reactor 3, supplies oxygen to be a prescribed concentration.</p> |
