<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a fixed image having low glossiness as a toner image is surely fixed after offset development is effectively prevented. SOLUTION: A fixing device has a pair of rollers 10, 20 which respectively have silicone rubber layers 12, 22 and fluororesin layers 12, 23 and are brought into pressurized contact with each other. These silicone rubber layers 12, 22 consist of silicone rubber having JIS-A hardness of 15 to 45 deg. and the difference in the surface hardness between a pair of the rollers 10, 20 is 0 to 5 deg.. Toners contain a binder resin consisting of a crosslinked styrene-acrylic resin which has a THF insoluble component of 20 to 40wt.% and has the mol. wt. of this THF soluble component and its distribution within a specific range and a linear polyester resin which is obtd. by bivalent arom. carboxylic acid and bivalent arom. alcohol and has the mol. wt. and its distribution within a specific range. A recording material deposited with the toner image by these toners is passed between the rollers of this fixing device, by which the toner image is fixed.</p> |
