摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the measuring procedure by measuring the parallelism between the end face of entry side and the end face of transmission side on the basis of the tilt angle of a transmitting light against the light axis of an incident light. SOLUTION: After a measuring light 2 is allowed to enter from one end face (called as incident light), the light 2 which is transmitted through a transparent body 1 and is radiated from the other face (called as transmitting light) is measured, and the parallelism between the end face of entry side and the end face of transmission side is measured on the basis of the tilt angle of the transmission light against the light axis of the incident light. A screen 4 is provided behind the body 1 to project the transmission light. The projection position N of the transmission light on the screen 4 is a distance (d) apart from the light axis point O according to the tilt angle and is within a range of 360 degrees centering the point O in the inclined direction of the end face. Therefore, the degree of the tilt angle and inclined direction can be known according to the distance d and its direction. In addition, many transparent bodies 1 are fed into the entry position of the light 2 successively so as to measure the distance (d) thereof, so that the parallelism of the bodies 1 can be measured continuously.
