PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a serum dispensing apparatus by which a carry-over is not generated when a serum is sucked from a container by installing an interface detection means provided with a raising and lowering mechanism by which an ultrasonic transmission member and an ultrasonic vibration generation part installed at its upper end are driven so as to be raised and lowered. SOLUTION: A raising and lowering mechanism 18 at an interface detection device is operated, an ultrasonic transmission member 16 and an ultrasonic vibration generation part 17 are lowered, and the lower end of the ultrasonic transmission member 16 comes into contact with the liquid face of a serum. Then, ultrasonic waves are radiated into a liquid (serum) inside a container from an ultrasonic vibrator 19 via the ultrasonic transmission member 16, reflected ultrasonic waves which are detected by the ultrasonic vibrator 19 are detected by an interface detection circuit 23 via an ultrasonic transmitter- receiver circuit 22, and a CPU 24 stores, in a memory, the fall amount of the ultrasonic vibration generation part 17 at this time. The CPU 24 controls the fall amount of a suction nozzle 8 on the basis of an interface distance detected by the interface detection circuit 23, and the suction nozzle 8 is not situated to be lower than the boundary face between the serum and a separating agent. |
