Granules for spreading on soil comprises: (a) at least one copolymer of maleic anhydride and di-isobutylene as the salt; (b) at least one alkoxylated mono-, di- or tri-(styryl)phenol. The weight ratio of components (a) : (b) is 40:60-99:1.
