PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coupled diene polymer compsn. improved in performance involving processability, strength and elasticity, and characterized by a freedom from generation of a harmful corrosive substance during processing, etc. SOLUTION: This diene polymer compsn. comprises 10-99wt.% diene polymer of the formula [wherein D1 is a diene polymer, R1 is a 1-20C hydrocarbon compd. residue having no active hydrogen, a hydrocarbon compd. residue having an ether, thioether, tert. amino or substd. imino group, or a silicon compd. residue, m and n are each 0 to 4, and m+n is 1 to 4 (m is at least 1 when n=0, and n is at least 2 when m=0)], and 90-1wt.% diene polymer corresponding to D1 in the formula. When this diene polymer is a conjugated diene homopolymer or a random copolymer of a conjugated diene and an arom. vinyl compd., this compsn. is generally used in a use as a rubber, and is suitably used in a use in a tire, such as in a tire tread. |
