The connecting part (12) incorporates a first female type multi-polar modular contact unit (24) for coupling to a corresponding second male-type modular contact unit (26) arranged in the proximal end (16) of the electrode cable (14), which is to be connected to the device (2). Each of the modular contact units has two or more poles, which are formed in a lateral direction by contact components located widthways to one another. - The second modular contact unit contact components have free ends located in a common plane crossways to the unit longitudinal direction. The first modular contact unit is provided with lock components, which work in conjunction with corresponding lock components in the second modular contact unit located in the proximal electrode cable end, for maintaining the firm locking of the second unit in the inserted coupled position in the first modular contact unit. |
