PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a dust or the like as an image noise and to eliminate the noise from the image. SOLUTION: The copying machine has plural image read means to read an original while being carried and output signals from the image read means are converted into digital image signals. Output signals DA1 from a 1st read image sensor reading the original image while carrying the original are delayed (730) and the delayed signals are compared (740) with outputs DB1 of 2nd (plural read image sensors and the image noise is detected from the result to detect the dust on the original as the image noise. |
