FIELD: medicine, vascular surgery. SUBSTANCE: method deals with visual and palpatory revealing a large subcutaneous vein with the help of intravenous elevator and application of opened subcutaneous ligatures beginning from the ostium and at different levels of thigh and shin to exclude that vein from blood flow. EFFECT: the method enables to have minimal trauma and risk for complications, higher efficiency and cosmetic effect without taking up nerves and fasciae adjacent to the vein that excludes postoperative pains. |
