<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the trapping amount of exhaust particulates in valley parts of a filter body, so as to decrease the calorific value to be generated in burning of exhaust particulates, by increasing the fluid resistance of emissions to pass the valley parts of the filter body larger than the fluid resistance on the other parts. SOLUTION: A filter body 20 is formed by bending a stacked body in which wire meshes 21, 23 are overlapped on both surfaces of a ceramic fiber non- woven fabric 22 into a wave shape and a cylindrical shape. Exhaust particulates are filtered by making emissions pass one surface of the outer surface and the inner surface of the filter body 20 from the other surface, and the filter body 20 is reconditioned by burning the exhaust particulates through a process of supplying electric power to the wire meshes 21, 23. A contact plate 46 for disturbing the flow of emissions is partially overlapped on one surface of the inner surface and the outer surface of the filter body 20.</p> |
