SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND X-RAY IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND PROCESSING METHOD BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material which has excellent antistatic performance and has excellent fixability and is adequate for formation of X-ray images and an image forming method and processing method by using the same. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material has photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers of which >=50% of the total projection area is planar particles having an aspect ratio of 2. In addition, the photosensitive material contain a colloidal tin oxide sol in the primer coating layer on at least one side of the base. The silver halide photographic sensitive materials for the image forming method have silver halide emulsion layers on both surfaces of the base. The photosensitive material is held in fluorescent intensifying paper which exhibits an absorption rate of >=45% to X-rays of X-ray energy of 80kVp, has a packing rate of phosphors of >=68% and has 135 to 200μm thickness of the phosphors. The material is then irradiated with X-rays. The silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed by an automatic developing machine having a mechanism of supplying solid processing agents to a processing vessel in the processing method for the photosensitive material.
