FIELD: mechanical engineering; restoration of dimensions of worn pieces made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and cast iron. SUBSTANCE: proposed vapor-gas mixture comprises nickel compound and copper beta-diketonate. Proposed mixture is inventively novel in that said nickel compound is nickel tetracarbonyl. Mixture additionally contains carbon monoxide, said components being present in following ratio, wt.%: nickel tetracarbonyl 55.0-75.0; copper beta-diketonate 24.5-44.9; carbon monoxide 0.1-0.5. EFFECT: service life of machine parts and components can be extended.
