The invention relates to a radio frequency filter (4), the band-pass type freque ncy response (14, 15) of which is controllable in a manner such that it can be moved between the transmission frequency (TX') and reception frequency (RX') of the radio equipment. Thus the same filter can be used both as a transmission and receiving filter, provided that the transmission and reception take place at dif ferent times. In accordance with the invention, the filter is provided with a change-ov er switch (5), which connects the filter to the transmitter when the pass band of t he filter is in the transmission frequency, and to the receiver when the pass band of the filter is in the reception frequency.
