An overvoltage protective and display device which cut off a voltage higher than a permissible range outputted from a power output circuit is disclosed. In the device, an overvoltage detector(10) compares a voltage which is outputted from a power output circuit and supplied to a system with a set reference voltage and outputs a control signal according to the comparison result. An overvoltage display section(20) operates according to the control signal from the overvoltage detector(10) and displays outside whether overvoltage is generated in the system. A relay driver(30) operates according to a control signal from the overvoltage display section(20) to control a relay(RY) so that the relay(RY) supplies or cuts off a power voltage which is inputted to the power output circuit.
