Diphenyl sulfone crosslinking type compounds of general formula (I) Äwherein X and Y are each independently a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated C1-C12 hydrocarbon group which may contain an ether linkage, or the following group (a) or (b)Ü and a recording material containing at least one of them. This recording material is excellent in the storage stability of colored images.
