The fuel feed system provides the engine (28) with fuel via a fuel line (2), to which air is supplied via an air input aperture (5). The fuel or fuel-air mixture (27) and/or the engine is supplied with auxiliary air via at least one second supply device (16). The air is supplied to the region between the fuel or fuel-air mixture input to the fuel line or to the induction manifold (37) of the engine or of the carburettor, and the engine. The air supplied to the engine via the second supply device may be supplied under pressure.
