Printer for fabric

The printer has a head (3) mounted on a sliding transverse support (2). This is positioned over a duct (4) through which a slider (8) moves the fabric stretched on the slider. The print head provides a pattern on the fabric using the X-Y movement. The slider moves along guide rails (13) and is driven by a computer controlled electric drive motor. The slider is made of two parts between which the fabric is stretched. The fit between the two parts takes into account the thickness of material clamped between the parts.
