The screened housing includes the lower part (1) and the cover (2). A mounting plate (3) in the lower part has attachment devices (4) for cables which are fed between the cover and the lower housing part. The cover can be inserted into the lower housing part and latched against the elastic force of an elastic sealing part (13-15). The lower housing part, cover and sealing part form an essentially closed screening housing. The lower housing part has inwardly bent edges (11,12) on three side walls. The cover can be slid into the housing part from the fourth side, from which the cable is fed through.
