<p>The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a diaper (10) or the like, which has a markedly bowl-shaped absorbent body (12). This shape is achieved by elastic (23) which by means of its location and fastening achieves shear forces which form the absorbent body (12) to the desired shape. Further, the absorbent body may be provided with recesses and/or compression lines which facilitate the formation of the desired shape and the guidance and improved transportation of liquid.</p> |
