The proposed compressed gas shooting weapon (1), in particular a pistol, has a drum (18) for holding the multiple projectiles and is characterised by a barrel (3) capable of sliding in a straight line to reach its loading or firing position and by a trigger (4) which is automatically protected against use when the barrel is in the loading position. Also disclosed is a novel valve system (25) for discharging the pressurised gas in bursts when the shot is fired.
