The armour is put together from several releasably attachable sections (1-5), comprising the minimum of a back section (1) and a front section (2) which can be joined together using two shoulder bands (1a,b) and waist bands (1c,d). The bands have quick-fit couplings, e.g. Velcro (RTM) fasteners, for joining them together. A neck and shoulder protection section (3) is placed beneath the shoulder bands and contains flap or strap openings (3c,d) through which the shoulder bands are passed before being joined together. |
