Fitting inclined bushings to transformer tanks

The base plate (1) is coupled to lead wires of respective coils and left in the centred position. Then the bushing bolt (3) with its extension is set by a hoist (5) onto the base plate at an angle (alpha) given by the lid (2) incline, and positively coupled to the base plate in conductive manner. Then a holder (6), securing the bushing bolt in the above position, is located on the bolt and tank lid and the hoist removed. Then the bushing porcelain part is inserted over the bolt extension and bolt proper, while held by the hoist, up to the holder. Then a releasable second holder is applied to the tank lid and bolt extension.
