Device for straightening and laying out of springs

The device has an alignment station (5) which is located upstream of the assembly machine and comprises a grip which can be swivelled and moved. A pneumatically operating cylinder is provided to actuate the grip. Two synchronously driven endless belts (8,9) form the guide unit, and the springs are held under pressure in it. Guide plates in the region of the alignment station make side loading of the springs easier.
