The sensor consists of a rigid head (1), a rigid base (2) and an interposed torsion body (3), connecting the head and base. The torsion angle ( eta ) is a measure of the output torque at the base determined after transmission of the torque introduced at the head. The torsion body consists of two separate bodies, a main body (6) and the measuring body (5). The measuring body contains a measuring value pick-up (10) with a measuring portion, which is resistant to bending. The measuring body contains a system, which with tilting and/or lateral displacement of the head relative to the base, decouples the tilting related to the measuring stretch and/or the lateral displacement of the head and the base.
