A holding down device presses the injection valve onto its seat and is fixed to the cylinder head by a tension screw. Adjacent to the injection valve (2) additionally an engine brake valve (3) is provided, which is insertable in a guide bore (12) in the cylinder head (1). The holding down device fixes both the injection valve and the engine brake valve in the corresponding installation positions. The holding down device in the installed position locates not on the cylinder head but on opposing ends on the fuel injection valve and the engine brake valve and in the area between the opposing ends an accommodation hole (11) for a tension screw (8) in the holding down device is provided.
