The capacitor for rated voltages in excess of 1000 V contains two wound plastics films coated with metal layers, with the foils containing metal-free edge strip on opposite longitudinal sides. The metal layers are contacted at the front side of the coil by hot sprayed films. Both metal layers (10, 12) are separated into metal strips by separating lines (14, 16) extending each at an angle (alpha, beta) of less than 90 degrees to the longitudinal sides of the plastics films (18, 20). The separating lines extend in mutually opposite directions. The inclination angle section is related to horizontal line spacing. |
