The invention relates to super-absorbent, cross-linked polymerisates for aqueous liquids which comprise monomers carrying partially neutralised, monoethylenically unsaturated acid groups, optionally other monomers copolymerisable therewith and optionally polymers suitable as a graft base. Said polymerisates can be obtained using a cross-linkage/ monomer combination from I. CH2=CHR<6>-CO-(OCHR<3>-CHR<3>)zO-CH2-CHR<6>=CH2, II. CH2=CHR<6>-R<5>-(OCHR<3>-CHR<3>)vOR<4>, III. R<1>-[O(CHR<3>-CHR<3>O)u-CO-R<2>]x, and/or diallyl amine or triallyl amine and /or bisacrylamides, where R<1> is a polyvalent C2-10-alkyl, R<2> is a linear or branched C2-10 alkenyl, R<3> is H, CH3, C2H5, R<4> is H, linear or branched C1-10 alkyl, R<5> is CO, CH2, R<6> is H, CH3, x is 2-6, u is 0-15, v is 1-45.
