The machine allows articles to be mounted, handled, transported or worked on, automatically by means of push-rods forming the outputs of a multitude of angular conversion units whose input rods are driven by cams and an electric motor. The drive block (25) contains a drive shaft (28), driven by an electric motor (30), and cams (36) operating on input shafts (36) to angular conversion units (26). The output shafts provide thrust at an angle to the input rods by means of linkages, cables, chains or gears.
