The pick-up has a housing (10), with at least one opening, for a cable led outwards, transmitting a measurement signal. At least two diametrically opposite flat-lying surfaces (26,27,28,29) are designed into the housing. On the side away from the housing, they are bordered by a stop (35). The stop at least in the region of the flat surfaces, has a larger diameter than the distance of both surfaces. The surfaces are designed as square surfaces, and at least two oppositely lying corners (31,32) are rounded off. The cable (22) is led out in an axial direction of the pick-up mounting, from the housing (10).
