The invention relates to a packaging comprising a bottom (5, 8), side panels (1, 4) which are connected to the bottom and are mutually connected in pairs to form a circumferential side wall, and at least a first closing panel in connection with a side panel (9, 12) wherein the packaging is provided with at least one service area for discharging objects contained therein, the closing panel and its associated side panel being provided with a material section (19) that follows the planes of the packaging in the closed state of the closing panel, and which may upon opening of the closing panel be folded away from the planes of the closing panel and the side panel, respectively. Moreover, the invention relates to a basic element for forming such packaging.
