The busbar channel for busways comprises two sheet metal housing halves and busbars arranged inside the busbar channel flat on one level and insulated on the busbar channel floor; both housing halves have regions destined to come into flat surface contact with one another. The aim is to develop the proposed busbar channel inexpensively in order to improve both deformation rigidity and the possibilities of securing the channel to other parts, and to improve the PE connection of the two housing halves. This is achieved as follows: one housing half forming the upper shell comprises a double-T-shaped section and the other housing half forming a bottom shell comprises a cap section. The housing halves are in addition connected by rivet joins. |
