JIG FOR INSPECTING MALE TERMINAL OF CONNECTOR

A jig for inspecting a conductive male terminal (19) of a connector (11). The jig is provided with a connector holding section (2) which supports the connector (11), a pin receiving section (3) which is movable to the position facing the section (2) and has a conducting pin (4) therein, and a control lever (6). A hole or slit (15) having a minimum size to receive the tip of the terminal (19) is formed near the pin (4) in the section (3). When the operating lever (6) is operated, the section is pushed toward the connector (11). When the terminal (19) of the connector (11) held by the section (2) is normal, the terminal (19) is inserted into the hole or slit (15) having the minimum size and, as a result, the pin (4) and the terminal (19) are electrically connected. When the terminal (19) is abnormal, the terminal (19) is not inserted into the hole or slit (15) and the connector (11) and pin (4) are not electrically connected. Therefore, the connector (11) can be judged to be normal or abnormal from the electrical connection of the terminal (19) and the pin (4).
