The present invention is to provide a method for searching geography information in a cellular phone. The method for searching the geography information in a cellular phone according to present invention comprises the steps of: searching a base station identification code and positioning a present position of a user when the present position information is requested by the user; and searching a memory map and positioning a destination path of the user when the destination path information is requested by user and guiding a moving direction for the user at a predetermined time interval. Thereby, the method may search the geography information in the cellular phone.
