The lengths, coming from a secondary roll, pass through a suction box (4). This has a suction zone, which extends over the complete material width. It is formed so that an even underpressure can be achieved across its whole area, and the material rolls-off evenly over this area. The suction zone is formed by a recess, which is open towards the material length, and limited by sides (10). A width stretch element (23,24), formed by a suction slot, is located at each end of the suction box. |
