Device for heating a machine for making cardboard

The system uses heating fluid circulating in a convector. The convector comprises a heating chamber (1) in which saturated vapour circulates. The chamber is constituted by a heating table (17) composed of an open rectangular casing (2) having side walls (3,4) and front (5) and rear (6) walls fixed to a closing surface (7). The lower face of this surface (11) is connected to a steel sheet of small thickness (8) having cavities (18) obtained by deformation. The steel sheet has its front (9) and rear (10) edges folded at 45 degrees downwards so as to form front (12) and rear (13) chambers. The steel sheet is connected to a rigid frame by adjusting parts so as to avoid heat transmission between the heating chamber and the rigid frame. The assembly of heating chamber and rigid frame is fixed floating in the manufacturing machine so as to account for thermal deformations resulting from heating.
